Congratulations to the Jail Staff for
receiving a 100 % compliance rating from their recent inspection!
To ensure compliance with State Board of
Corrections Standards for Local Jails and Lock-ups, the Compliance &
Accreditation Unit's Local Facilities section conducts annual unannounced
"Life, Health, Safety" Inspections, while its Certification section conducts
triennial Certification Audits. On August 5, 2010, The Mecklenburg County
Jail received their annual inspection. Upon completion of the inspector's
review of procedures, paperwork and a physical tour of the facility, the
jail received a 100% compliance rating.
Without the hard work and dedication of
our jail staff this would not have been possible!
Thanks for all you do!
